Rain, glorious rain!!!
All of this much needed rain we’re getting made me hungry for fish, so I headed off to the Fish Tale Grill in Broken Arrow, for lunch (MAP – across from Rhema).
As the name implies, the focus is on seafood, but they have steak and chicken, too, and much more (Menu). I got the Filet of Tilapia, blackened, with seasoned rice, the vegetable medley, fried okra and garlic toast. It was awesome. Everything tasted fresh, and cooked to order – served perfectly hot. Okra is sometimes a little tricky, but this was absolutely perfect.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The decor was clean and new – in a nautical theme. There is a room for larger groups or meetings. The whole place has a very comfortable home-town cafe feel too it, and the prices are very reasonable. You can easily get filled to the gills (pun intended) for $10-15 per person. There are also lunch specials for a lighter fare.
So, if this rainy weather has you thinking of the lake or the beach, give them a try!
