I’ve been trying to cut down on calories and sugar a bit lately, so I’ve intentionally been doing my best to ignore the irresistible photos of cupcakes and goodies that Frosted Tops has been posting in my Facebook news feed. Really, I have.
But it hasn’t been easy, and today I had a craving for a little something sweet. So what else did I need? A written invitation?
Well, actually, I had one of those, too, thanks to Christine, from the bakery. Ok, ok, OKAY!!!! So what choice did I have, really?
A chocolate cupcake and a peanut butter cake pop later, I’m definitely a fan.
The shop is very fun. On one side is a bakery counter displaying samples of the cupcakes and baked goods. On the other is a fabulous of collection of costume jewelry, beads, and other gifts for sale. The staff was very professional, and yet I felt comfortable, like I had stopped by a friend’s kitchen.
These gourmet cupcakes and cake pops are a perfect solution for anyone needing to take treats to a reception, shower, birthday party, or office celebration. You can buy one for yourself (or as a beautifully packaged gift), or you can get a gillion. If you’re going to order a gillion, you’ll need to make advance arrangements – the details for custom orders are on the Services tab of the web page.
They also deliver and ship. Visit FrostedTopsCupcakes.com or Frosted Tops on Facebook to see examples of their work, or just go by, and choose from the flavors of the day (for smaller orders). Frosted Tops is in the shopping center on the North East corner of 71st and Elm behind Arby’s, between Subway and the Hideaway Salon. (MAP).
