Main Street Tavern has been in downtown Broken Arrow (MAP) about a year, and I finally had a chance to visit yesterday. What a treat! The decor is inspired by Colonial America. Even though I was drinking water and soda, I couldn’t help noticing that the fully-stocked bar was a real show-piece.
There are big-screen TVs all over the restaurant, which are great for event watching, or just catching up on the news during a lunch hour.
I had the Seafood Mac & Cheese, the ultimate comfort food. It was a heaping bowl of creamy deliciousness with a lovely crust on top, and generous serving of shrimp and lobster. Yum! Other menu items I would like to try include the Bangers and Mash, and the Blackened Salmon. Of course, you can also get a traditional steak, cheeseburger, wings or hot pretzel as well, and there is a very nice late-night menu up until 1am.
