Last week, we talked about getting healthy, at Martha’s Health Food & Herbs in Broken Arrow. Another way to do that during the Spring and Summer in Broken Arrow (April 14th through October 13th this year) is to visit the Market on Main, Broken Arrow, OK’s Farmers Market. The market is open from 8am to noon on Saturdays, and is located in the Centennial Park part of Main Street, under the Centennial Clock (MAP).
I stopped by this morning, and was amazed at all of the home-made crafts and soaps, the meats, the bedding plants, the fresh fruits and vegetables, the food vendors, the baked goods, and the wine and preserves. I picked up some lovely green onions from an irresistibly darling little girl, some large-leaf spinach from a very nice lady who showed me how to use it to make healthy wraps, and some locally-grown honey.
In case you’re wondering what’s in-season right now, the Broken Arrow City website has a handy Guide to Seasonal Availability in Green Country.
Also, be sure to “like” the Broken Arrow Farmers Market on Facebook.

Thank you Jenn. I think Broken Arrow is very lucky to have the selection of vendors that we have. Many have come from other markets in the metro area and feel they have found a home at the BA market. One of the most frequent comments I hear is about the warm and friendly people that sell at our market. Thanks for attending the market! – David Blue, Market Manager.
You’re welcome, David, and thank you for visiting the blog and for the kind comment!
